Please note: This is a restored pen. I do not include pictures of any imprints on the barrel,etc. This is because I assume you are interested in buying a restored pen because you are either a collector or a user. As such, I also assume that in being of those two you already have prior knowledge of this pen brand. I have restored this vintage Esterbrook Dollar Pen to clean, working order. The ink sac has been replaced and dusted with 100% pure, unscented talc powder in order to absorb any moisture that may get inside the pen as well as to prevent the pressure bar from catching the sac. Doing so prolongs the life of the ink sac as well as the pen barrel. The #3556 firm fine nib is used for general writing and has no flex. It is quite smooth. As you can see in the pictures, there is a longitudinal crack on the side of the nib/feed unit . This is a 3000 series Re-New Point Nib with the characteristic sunburst design and osmiridium tipping. The cap and barrel have been polished with a wax and solvent-free , water-based pen polish.There are no cracks in the barrel, section, or cap. The pen has a few scratches and abrasions which are common with vintage, pre-owned pens.
