RESTRICTED ONI Reference WWII Japanese Naval Warships OFFICE OF NAVAL INTELLIGENCE Division of Naval Intelligence - Identification and Characteristics Section RESTRICTED Dates on the pages range from October 1942 to August 1943 Approximate size: 6" x 10", unpaginated Over 130 pages profusely illustrated with dated photographs, drawings and diagrams, tables and charts. I do not know if this document is complete as some of the pages are loose. Apparently the pages were simply bound together with string, which is now unraveling. Several of the yellow/orange sectional dividers with the ship titles have torn out and the one for submarines is missing. T is no title/publisher page, however, this document may have been printed without one. The cover, titled "Battleships," is well worn, some tears, and stains. The inside pages are clean, some bumped corners, but in overall good condition considering the age and amount of use this document must have received. The amount and type of information is phenomenal! Most of the photographs are dated, some with the month, day, and year the pictures were taken thus showing the modifications and difference in appearance of the ships at different times.
