This is a very cute blue painted wooden bed made by Pleasant Company for their American Girl, Kirsten. This item is retired. The bed is brightly painted in blue, decorated on the footboards with berries and leaves. The mattress and pillow are covered with red and white ticking,printed cotton. I don't think this was ever played with. The bed is sturdy and unmarked, and mattress and pillow are clean and not compressed from, use. Underneath this I found the paper printed story that came with it originally. This is dated 1994. All of this comes in the original ribbon decorated box. While the contents are beautifully preserved, the box has tears and is warped a bit from storage, but it's still together. This has no smells and comes from a non smoking home.
