This auction is for a retired Lladro figurine titled "Oca Agresive", Aggressive Duck. This is a really beautiful piece. She was first issued in Spain in 1974 and retired in 1995. She is 8-1/4" high & her finish is glazed. Her sculptor was Juan Huerta. In blue underneath is what must be the Lladro mark & "LLADRO HAND MADE IN SPAIN ". The original price tag is still attached. She sold for 145.00. Pesos??..Dollars??..Pounds??.. I don't know . Incised underneath the Lladro mark is a diamond with a line down the center. Incised to the right of that is an "8", & what looks like the infinity symbol with a hook attached. And randomly incised are what appear to be, an"I", a "VI", and a "J". During my research on this item I saw one for sale for $600. That price was for a mint specimen. The one I have to offer in not mint. It does not come in it's original box. Uncle Harry would have bought her in the late 70s or early 80s while serving with the U.S. Navy & had her on display for many years. But now you have a chance to buy this beautiful collectable for 1/6 the price. T are no cracks, scratches or chips. This wonderful piece is in great condition. I have tried to show all the imperfections in the photos and will describe them Using a magnifying glass I found: 1) T is a tiny spot on the rear of her skirt. It appears to be a stain that is over the glaze. 2) T is a tiny bump on the ducks right wing. This is under the glaze & would have come from the factory. 3) From all her years on the shelf she could use a really good cleaning. As I have no experience with these collectibles the only cleaning I did was with a feather duster & a dry soft cloth. It will be up to you to clean and/or repair to your satisfaction. I have done my best to photo & describe the imperfections on this beautiful piece but please feel free to email me with any questions.
