You are bidding on a Retired Lladro Lovers of Verona 1250. This piece is in excellent condition. I don’t like to use the word “Mint” since I’m not a professional appraiser but this piece would probably be classed there or close to it. It has an original price tag on the bottom of $815.00. There are some other marks on the bottom. I looked it over very closely and I couldn’t find any issues with it. I’m putting this on for a friend. Starting with items such as vases and jugs, it wasn't until 1956 that they started producing the sculptures for which they are now most famous. Enthusiasm for the items produced by the Lladró brothers saw their small workshop expand several times until eventually they moved to Tavernes Blanques in 1958. • 1962, the brothers open the Professional Training School at their site in Tavernes Blanques to share their knowledge and experience.
