Up for auction we have a 100% authentic, depatrment issued Police leather jacket. This jacket was manufactured by Taylor's Leatherwear in Tullahoma, Tennessee. Taylor's is the #1 choice for departments everyw DO NOT be fooled by cheap imitations, just because they have "authentic Chicago Police patches" on them, this is the real deal. This jacket is a size 46, and is the last one that I have in this size. It measures 22 1/2 inches across the shoulders (seam to seam), sleeves measure 25 inches from shoulder seam to cuff, and the back is 24 1/2 inches from just below the collar to hem. The jacket has two slash pockets for your hands, two outer pockets with flaps, and one pocket on the interior. It has a non-removable Thinsulate lining, with no rips or missing stitching. This was a lieutenant's jacket, so you know it didn't see any hard wear (sorry, I couldn't resist). T are two small holes and slight impressions from the LT bars on the shoulder epaulets. I have looked this jacket over very carefully, and the only wear on it anyw, are some small scuffs around w the badge WAS. Overall, the jacket is soft, glossy and very comfortable. This is easily the nicest of the jackets that I have listed. It is not quite broken-in yet. In fact, the leather still "squeeks" when you wear it. T IS ONE ISSUE WITH THIS PARTICULAR JACKET. The zipper zips up fine, but sometimes (not always) the zipper does not want to un-zip smoothly. Strangely, it seems to work better if you un-zip it with your left hand. The jacket pictured is the one you will receive. I will be listing additional sizes as time allows.
