This is a fabulous Retro 14k rose gold snake chain necklace, c. 1940. This is a beautifully made necklace in outstanding condition with very good weight (42.7 grams). It measures 15" long, 1/4" wide and about 1/8" thick. The necklace is simply marked "14k" and has an intriguing clasp with safety catch. The best thing about this necklace is the feel of it against one's skin - just like satin - and the way it lays so perfectly around the neck.
