Here you have just one of a number of wonderfully Kitsch 50's 60's Trentham Ware figures I am selling.... This one - as you can see is a great little Bright Orange Chunky Donkey (the front one only!) He measures 7 inches tall. This pottery often crazes so I have taken a close photo to help you judge his condition. He has no chips or cracks. Trentham Pottery were based in Bovey Tracey in Devon - and is not, as is quite often the case - Beswick. Beswick produced wares using the Trentham name in the 20's and 30's.... Trentham Ware (Bovey Tracey) was produced from the 50's through to the mid 80's when it closed. I have collected many different models over the years - in the orange colour-way, although they were produced in various other colours as you will see from those I am selling. Grouped together - they make superb retro ornaments which sit wonderfully upon Teak furniture - trust me... I have almost 30!! I am selling doubles I have amassed from a collection I bought - Check out the others I have listed and look out for others I shall - or if you have any requests... you never know - I may be able to help!!
