Over 432-pages of mid 1950's decorating ideas in a ringbound cover. Looking through this 5 ring hardcover how-to book is a great way to redecorate or reminisce on your childhood home. Everything you need to decorate your home in classic styles OR in a mid-century modern mode. Page size: 6 1/4" x 9 1/4". It carries a copyright date of 1956 by Meredith Publishing Company, Des Moines, Iowa. The book is divided into tabbed categories: It's YOUR Home, Facts About Color, Color Schemes, Furniture Arrangement, Backgrounds, Floors, Lighting, Windows, Accessories, Space-makers, Kitchens, Other Rooms, Dollarsavers, and Redecorating. There's also a tabbed section with the Index. Hundreds of great pictures--over 300 in full color! This copy includes its original dust jacket. DJ front flap has been taped back, there are also some loss to dj spine and edges. The Hardcover portion is Near Fine condition with minimal wear. A great resourse for Eames Era interior design.
