Retro Mid-Century Modern Blenko Emerald Green Sheared Rim pitcher circa 1963 Stock No. 939P. Emerald Green is Blenko's most intense green color and it is gorgeous!
The pitcher is 14 1/2 inches tall and is in excellent condition. There are no chips or scratches. There is a heat check in the glass where the top handle attaches. A heat check is an internal fissure in the glass caused by the hot glass of the handle attaching to the cooler glass of the body. This is a common finding in hand blown pitchers. The heat check is completely internal and can not be felt on the outside of the pitcher or the inside of the pitcher. It has been present since the pitcher was made. The pitcher still retains its original label - Blenko Milton, W. Va. 939-P. Someone scraped off the original price.
