Stunning THOMAS / ROSENTHAL Porcelain

Service for 8 / Plus 4 additional Cups (44pcs)

Exceptional quality and condition.

This set of 50's/60's china dinnerware -

an estate find - has seen very little use.

These were probably the "good dishes" - used on

holidays or special occasions.

I have examined the set and find only one small chip

on a dinner plate (pictured # 9, bottom plate),

otherwise nearly pristine.

Service for 8 - each place setting includes :

Dinner Plate 9.75" Salad Plate 7.5" Bread Plate 6" Cup & Saucer 8oz / 6" PLUS 4 extra Cups (no saucers)

The pattern is iconic - sophisticated and

modern. The colors are splendid - gray and

pink on a field of bone white.

Set a beautiful HOLIDAY table with these

very retro dishes.

The THOMAS factory is still in production today,

as a subsidiary of ROSENTHAL Glass & Porcelain.

The 'shield and urn' mark began use in

1953 - this set was made sometime after

that, exact date unknown.

Dishes will be double boxed and expertly packed -

insurance required.
