This is a famous 1960s/1970s GPO 746 telephone. We purchased it from Firebox in August 2008:/product/1763/Retro-Telephones?id=4738The Firebox sales blurb said: “Retro Telephones are completely genuine models from the 70s,” and that they are “lovingly refurbished internally and ready for use with modern phone socket.”We could never really work our whether this is indeed originals (it is heavy) or whether a replica as it’s in great condition.However, the ringer bell is sadly temperamental, i.e. doesn’t always work, hence this sale is spares of repair only please bear this in mind as we cannot do returns for this item.)
