RETRO GPO / BT 746 ROYAL BLUE & IVORY DIAL TELEPHONE You are bidding on a genuine original GPO telephone That has been properly converted, it is in good condition with out any chips or cracks. This type of telephone was manufactured from the 1960’s and used in most households and businesses.The telephone has been stripped down to basic parts, these have been cleaned and polished to remove as many usage marks as possible, some can not be removed but only show on close inspection.The dial has been set to the original specification and returns smoothly to the starting point. During renovation faulty and suspect parts are replaced,The flexible hand set cord is in good condition and recoils after use.Microphones and transmitters have been tested and are working. The phone has a BT lead and ready to be plugged in and used.The Phone has been tested on both our NTL (VIRGIN) and BT lines and phoned o2 and orange mobile networks as part of our testing procedure. You will need to make sure your telephone line has pulse and tone dialling.The telephone has good quality speech and sound, it will be re tested before despatch. It has a standard BT style plug in connector and is ready to use.
