This auction is for a beautiful REUGE clown music box that plays "SEND IN THE CLOWNS". The wonderfully noted clown artist, ROBERT OWEN is responsible for the glazed art photo on the front of this SWISS original. the box measures 5 and 3/4 inches X 4 inches. It is stamped with the "REUGE SWISS MUSICAL MOVEMENT " sticker on the bottom. The box still plays " send in the Clowns" and the winder is functioning. The hinges on the box are in great condition and the mustard colored felt inside is complete. The music mechanism is covered by a portion of the cardboard and felt. This portion of the felt looks like it has been pulled up periodically to oil the music mechanism. T is an extremely small area of the glaze near the clown hair that seems a bit irregular - but I can't tell if t was previously a sticker t or not. Otherwise, this box is currently in good condition and a nice addition to any collection. We accept PAYPAL only and ship to the United States.
