Consider this the best reverse painted lamp that the Classique ever made! This is an 18 inch across and 23 inch tall reverse painted, ice chip finish surface in a stunning, realistic still-life of poppies! Yellow and Red Poppies abound this lamp and fill the viewer with a sensation of the past. The lamp retains its original base, which is a heavy and finely cast nickle plated metal without wear! The cord (we all agree) is original and in good working order! The quailty of this lamp is no differnt than Handel or Pairpoint. This lamp shade was made by the Classique Company. The 2 sockets are both good and working, one looks replaced but is an old one. The shade has 3 small flakes to the edge, as seen in the images - these are minor and could easily be blended away. The shade has no hairlines, no cracks and no repairs. This is from an old and fine estate in Toledo, Ohio. The lamp comes to use from the original family. The cap is original, the finial is replaced. If you need more images than these 12, please ask. Shipping: Please read and we will not change this shipping technique unless you pick up this lamp. We will pack the shade seperatly from the base, double lining the box for the shade and sending both the boxes UPS or Fed Ex Express, fully insuring the shade for the final bid amount. We are very good at packing, see my feedback. Shipping is set at both the boxes at $98.00 Reserves are reserves for a reason - this one is modest and will likley be met! Thank you to all!
