Hi Folks Yup been a while since I have listed any Rev War relics on Ebay and with the current terrible economy it's a gamble. Let's say life as a buyer is more exciting . Anyway Ebay emailed me and said list your items for free. Boy they really are nice folks up there in Ebay land. Right? So here is something you don't see every day and so as to not get the buttheads that know it all turn me in for selling a fake i'll list this one as a REPRODUCTION and let you decide if it is or not. That way I won't get that dreaded email from the Ebay gods "Your item has been canced because it was significantly misrepresented. Yup sure it has happened to you as well with no recource and I would not mind if you have recource but you don't. Sound familar? Well hell lets get back to the item here. About 15 years ago I bought this silver oval cross belt plate from a gentleman in NJ as real. Well as you know there are many experts out there that will indeed be more than happy to dispute that and in my opinion with all the fakes on the market I am fine with that. No doubt this may have been made for a reinactor or who knows maybe a Brit soldier wore it during the American Revolution of War of 1812.
