Here’s a nice Reynolds Medalist student / beginner trumpet made in the USA by the same company that made F.E. Olds trumpets. This one is a really sweet player and has a beautiful tone and is easy to blow. The shiny lacquered finish is approx. 90% intact showing some average wear / light surface scratches from normal use. Overall this trumpet is very shiny and this horn has the fancy nickel silver trim. Valves are smooth and quick and have just been lubricated. Valve plating is intact. There are some small dents and dings in the horn, nothing major though. Finger buttons have mother-of-pearl inserts in them and there are traditional waterkeys on this horn. Please check out the photos to get a better idea of the good used condition of this trumpet. Serial # is 256XXX and is stamped on the valve casing. Bell is engraved "R MEDALIST". This horn is all ready to play as is and complete with all of it's parts. This trumpet plays very well as you would expect from a Reynolds. This horn is almost identical in dimensions to the Olds Ambassador trumpet, and it plays very similar. read more
