NATIVE AMERICAN LOVERS Embrace This is a Rhea egg that is carved using a Dental Lab hand piece and Dental burs. The Rhea is the South American cousin to the ostrich and, like the ostrich, it is a flightless bird. The egg is carved by one of the best known egg carvers around and egg carving is an exacting Art. Unlike painting or drawing, t is usually no correcting mistakes and it means starting over on another egg. That can mean many hours of work down the drain but I never worry about that and I am my own worse critic. If the egg doesn't look exactly like I wanted it to, it goes in the trash. This egg has one of my favorite Native American scenes and it's a young Brave and Maiden in a Lovers Embrace. You can almost feel the Love passing from their eyes as they gaze intently at each other. What a lovely present this would make for a young couple getting married or even from one lover to another. Show and share your love and never be afraid to do that. What is it they say? " Love makes the world go round " Give this egg to your lover and their head will spin. And, you are never too old to show your spouse how much you love them.
