Up for bid is an original Rock Island Arsenal cartridge pouch or shoulder haversack, probably from the post Civil War and used during the Indian War time frame. Dimentions are 8" across by 5" in depth by 3" wide. A large US is embossed on the front and Rock Island Arsenal and EHS on the back. Comes with shoulder strap that is in poor shape and ready to let go. Pouch itself is in very good condition with some crackling/crazing to the leather mostly on the bottom and on one side. Should make a nice addition to your period collection. Overall condition is a VERY GOOD. Buyer to include $8 shipping and handling for USPS priority shipping with delivery confirmation. Insurance is optional at the high bidders discretion and should only add a couple of dollars. My terms are a one week, no questions asked return of your money, less shipping if you should be unhappy with your purchase for any reason. I would ask that the item be returned in the same condition it was sent and that the buyer pay for return shipping costs. We accept PAYPAL money orders and personal checks.
