Antique metal ricer, strainer, collander, applesauce maker or potato masher. Cone shaped with a matching cone shape wooden pestle. Cone is removable for washing. Wood pestle rotates easily around cone shaped portion to mash, rice, strain etc.. Dates to 1800s. Unit has stand and handle. It can be used in a pan. Steal cone measures 7" across the top and is 8 1/2" long, nice strong handle to stabilize cone while in use. Unit is in very nice condition for its age. Nice collector item.
