Up for auction is one bag of rich Georgia gold concentrates dredged with my Proline 2 1/2" dredge. I recently moved to Georgia and have prospected several times now in one of Georgia's best gold-bearing regions, on Beech Creek, near Buchanan, Georgia. Beech Creek is an optimum dredge site, as the bedrock is shallow, and is a fairly soft, decomposing rock, loaded with fine gold. I spent on average 8 to 9 hrs a day on the creek, "vacuuming" bedrock, cleaning cracks/crevices and going for max gold. Georgia gold is well known for its butter yellow luster and high purity, usually between 21kt to 23kt. I have found that I have WAY more cons than I can reasonably pan out, and so I will be offering my extra cons on eBay for your panning pleasure. You get your money's worth ..not a measley 200 gram "sample", or 1 pound, or even 2 pounds -- you get a full 3 pound bag! After drying, I screen the big rocks out with a 1/2 inch classifier, so you don't get useless rock. Every bag will vary as to how much fine gold is in it, but I can say I found gold in every pan I sampled. I removed nothing...all the gold I got went into the cons...and t's a lot of heavy black sand, various minerals and some garnets too.
