Lot of 10 Richards Bros. Sheffield vintage pocket knives, all circa early to mid 20th century. 1) Orange celluloid two blade knife. Of all the knives in the lot, this one is in the poorest condition - it is a bit rusty and corroded and t's a tiny piece of the celluloid missing. It's structurally a little wobbly too. Un-monogrammed blade shield. Marked Richards Sheffield England on the larger blade. 2& 3) 2 Tartan pattern reddish/orange and green 2 blade knives marked Richards Bros. The larger one is in good condition. The smaller knife could use an oiling for the smaller blade. Some fading to reddish coloring on one side of the larger knife. 4) 1953 Richards Bros. celluloid coronation equal end 2 blade pocket knife, losses to lower edge of celluloid on one side. 5) & 6) Two matched chocolate brown plastic single blade pocket knives. One marked with Richards Sheffield mark, the other marked no. 30, made in Sheffield, England (can't guarantee that this knife is Richards but it is nearly identical). 7) Small stainless steel or chrome 3 blade pocket knife, same markings as above. 8) Mother of pearl knife marked Richartz Bros. & Sons Solingen Germany with a slightly different lamp post mark on the blade (see photo). It is a 2 blade knife and in excellent condition. 9) Stainless steel 2 blade Richards pocket knife with royal blue, red and copper enamel raised blade shield with monogram/armorial for Hastings. Very good condition. 10) Stainless steel Richards pipe knife with tobacco spike, ream blade, tamper and a square pommel which allows this knife to rest standing up. Also very good condition.
