RICHARDSON 'S MASONRY
MONITOR OF FREE-MASONRY;
Practical Guide To The Ceremonies
In All Degrees
by Jabez Richardson, A.M.

Up for auction is this very old hard bound Richardson 's Masonry. The title page reads, "Richardson's Monitor of Free-Masonry; being a practical guide to the ceremonies in all the degrees conferred in Masonic lodges, chapters, encampments, etc. Explaining the signs, tokens and grips, and giving all the words, pass-words, sacred words, oaths, and hieroglyphics used by Masons. The ineffable and historical degrees are also given in full." The date of 1860 is listed as, "Entered according to act of Congress in the year 1860 by Benjamin H. Day..." This book is 192 pages long and measures approximately 4 1/2" x 6 3/4". You don't find these books every day!
The exterior of the book is in good shape for its age. T is wearing to the corners, edges, and spine (see photos). T is also some very minor wearing to the gold gilding on the spine and cover. The binding is a little loose in a couple of places but it is still intact. The interior pages all have what I'll call "age spots" and some yellowing due to age. I didn't find any writings, markings, tears, rips, or missing pages.

Further due this book has so much info that it may be dangerous if it got in the wrong hands.. I have spoken to a A.F. A.M. Brother in the Southern District and he has told me that this book is so accurate that i had to be careful, and it was 95% on the dot when it came to rituals.. YOU WILL NOT GAIN ANYMORE INFO FROM THIS ORGANIZATION THEN THIS BOOK!!!!!!!!! GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!
