This Mitchell and Ness Authentic Vintage 1988-89 RICK MAHORN Detroit Pistons RoadJersey #44, is an elegantly understated classic celebrating a Franchise founded in 1941in Fort Wayne, Indiana as the Fort Wayne (Zollner) Pistons of the National BasketballLeague (NBL). Since moving to the Motor City in 1957, the Pistons have won 3 WorldChampionships (1989; 1990; & 2004). As for Mahorn--one piece of the famed Bad Boystandem along with fellow Big Man Bill Laimbeer (or Messrs. "McFilthy and McNasty," asthe Celtics' late great Radio Voice Johnny Most, aptly dubbed them)--he contributed mightilyto the Organization's Title in 1989, the absolute pinnacle of his 18-Year NBA Career.
