'S THE STORY: I purchased this Louisville Slugger bat and had it signed, in person, by Rickey Henderson at an autograph signing near Oakland in the late 1980s or early 1990s. I bought the bat at the autograph signing and then paid about $20 to have Rickey Henderson sign it. I was about 12 years old and I went with my dad.Now it's about 20 years later and the bat has been in a clear plastic baseball tube in my old bedroom closet for the entire time. The only time it's seen daylight in the past 20 years is when I took it out a few weeks ago and sent it in to PSA/DNA to have it examined and certified.This bat is in pristine condition and the autograph is in pristine condition as well. The bat is 36" long and says "Genuine K55 Louisville Slugger" on the barrel.PSA/DNA issued a Certificate of Authenticity.
