's what it says on the Certificate of Authenticity that accompanies this item: "Congratulations, Pardner! You've got yourself an authentic Six Shooter Knife named after one of the legendary Riders of the Silver Screen. It's a 1/2 scale replica of an original cap gun of one of the cowboy greats! These original cap guns were popular in the 1940'2 and 50's and are now highly collectible treasures. This replica commemorates those great novelties of the past and comes in a 1/2 scale tin display lunchbox, just like the character lunchboxes of that era. The knife is constructed of the highest quality materials with careful attention to detail and craftmanship." On the back is the United Cutlery Limited Warranty. The certificate is dated 1995.
