Have you seen one of these before? It's an early vinyl Coca-Cola picnic cooler in excellent condition! If I had to guess, I would think that Coca-Cola may have come up with these as an alternative to their more familiar metal coolers - most likely because of cost and the weight of those early coolers, even empty they weighed a lot. I estimate it was made at least 50 years ago - at the very least. The outer dimensions of the cooler are approximately 13" x 17" x 11". I thought I took photos of all sides (even the bottom) but missed one - however, you can see that side in two of the photos. This thing is clean - no rot or funky odors. No split seams. It even has an old opener mounted on one side! It needs a careful cleaning - if I had the time, I'd spray a little Armor-All on a clean rag and wipe the whole thing down, being careful to avoid the painted Coca-Cola logos. The red color is bright and vibrant, and unfaded. If you collect Coca-Cola memorabilia, you need one of these coolers - it's a sharp piece, and a fragile survivor.

(2) Winning bidders should e-mail me directly after the auction's end with their address, which I will need to prepare your item for shipping. I will carefully package the item(s), take them to the post office for a shipping/insurance amount, and get back to you with a total due. I will not be able to tell you how much the shipping will be until that time. Check my feedback - I pack well and do not charge for packing materials unless noted.

(3) Winning bidder to pay for the item, plus shipping and insurance, within 7 days of getting a total from me. I accept US Postal Money orders, personal checks (which may nave to clear my bank before I ship your purchase, or MasterCard and Visa - please contact me after the auction's end to do this, I do not accept PayPal.

(4) Insurance is mandatory - it covers BOTH of us.

(5) I will gladly leave positive feedback for you after I receive the same from you.
