RINGO STARR 'VERTICAL MAN' PEWTER FIGURINE - ARTIST'S PROOF AUTOGRAPHED EDITION- #17 / 50 VERTICAL MAN- 9 inch figurine - Ringo personally hand signed 500 individually numbered pieces. The Artist's Proof edition is limited to ONLY 50 pieces worldwide . This statue is the Artist's Proof edition originally issued by Gartlan USA in 1998. Both the limited edition of 500, and the Artist's Proof editions are cast in museum grade pewter and the AP is finished with a brilliant sterling silver plating . Both are sold out from the manufacterer. Gartlan USA includes metal from smelted weapons - which were either confiscated in crimes or voluntarily surrendered to law enforcement agencies - in each pewter figurine. A Certificate of Issuance is included with each figurine noting the date and place that the gun metal was smelted. Ringo had a several year relationship with Gartlan which produced some of the most desirable Beatles collectables in recent years. The figurine is mint and comes in its original shipping carton. I've been a licensed Gartlan dealer for close to 10 years. The pictured figurine is my personal one, yours is the AP edition #17 of 50 and comes in it's original packaging.
