Up for sale is this Rivarossi Pere Marquette Berkshire. Road #1222. This unit is dusty. The one picture makes it look really bad because I used the macro setting on my camera so it made the dust look worse than what it is. Please see all pictures as they are part of the description. I have looked this unit over several times. Heres what I come up with. On the front of the loco the one ladder needs to be glued. Its not broken, it just needs to be glued back in place. The top of the loco is missing a number board and the bell. The front pilot, coupler, handrails side rods, valve gear, etc, all the detail parts are intact and not broken. Again just the bell and one number board are missing and the ladder just needs some glue. As for the tender. Everything is intact including the four steps. All hand rails are there as well. See the picture, the rear ladder is a bit rusty. This engine was tested and ran flawlessly. Forward and backwards. This baby just needs some tlc and a good cleaning of the boiler. I cleaned a small spot and the dust came right off. If your not too picky and a bit handy, this is a nice piece. Just basically needs a dusting, numberboard, and a bell. Overall its a great runner. The box is long gone though. I don't think you'll be disapointed. However I am not a pro on trains so please ask as many questions as you need read more
