Art Deco Cocktail Bar Manufactured by "The Rivington Cabinet Works" Company 138/146 Cambridge Heath RdLondon, E1 Item Description: This is a gorgeous antique English Rivington walnut Art Deco chinoiserie liquor cocktail bar cabinet. It has an attractive bow front shape and it features a beautiful cocktail cabinet that includes a mirrored back decorated with golden bar related images such as glasses, shakers and olives, a golden striped mirror on its bottom surface, a half glass shelf, a light with a switch on top that doesn't work but may be repaired if necessary, a reamer and an olive pick holder. On the bottom t is a spacious cabinet. T is also a convenient slide-out shelf that has a mirror matching the one inside the cocktail cabinet. The chinoiserie doors are richly decorated with hand painted art works that include people, houses and beautiful foliage and floral designs. The bottom doors have a lock mechanism with no key present. The handle door flips down and the top raises at the same time. This piece may show minor age appropriate signs of wear including wood imperfections, flaking and scratches otherwise it is overall in very good cosmetic and structural condition and it is strong and sturdy.
