Gorgeous RLC ROCK CRYSTAL ROSARY with Tag. This is a very heavy 70 grams of fabulous, beautiful rosary that is equal to none. The RLC is right up t with the other names in rosaries. Gloria, F.S., BLI, Blister, Sturdy, Dean, and that is just to name a few of the more popular rosaries that are made by these companies. This rosary is 25" long, with a circumference of 36" and a drop of 7". The crucifix is 1 1/2" by 1" and is just as nice as most crucifixes on the market today. The raised Corpus is a very nice and I believe a must for any rosary. The cross is stamped Sterling Silver and RLC. The Tag above the crucifix reads: Cristal De Roche Varitable (French) on the reverse is: Genuine RLC Rock Crystal. The beads are of a XBox type but with more facets horizontally then the regular box cut. The beads are double capped with O rings for more stability and strength. The spacers or fancy extenders are between the mater and pater beads 14 to be exact and are on most rock crystal rosaries. This is an older version of the RLC rosary. The cross is showing that the rosary has had a lot of prayers said, the body of Christ is not that defined as it would be if it were not used all the time. The center medal is the same, the Blessed Virgin Mary is worn, but not to the extent that you can not recognize Mary. The crucifix is stamped Sterling Silver and RLC. The center medal is Sterling Silver, as well as the double caps, the chain, and the extenders. The weight is 70 grams. This is a nice size rosary and has been used a lot, but still has a lot of life left in this beautiful piece. I would guess the age to be about 70-80 years old. What a gorgeous religious item to be held and prayed upon. This is a blessed rosary, and you are the person who will keep it from being put away in a drawer. Use this rosary, and say the prayers, it never hurt anyone to do what the Blessed Virgin asks of us. To pray the rosary and to end the wars of the world. That would be a miracle to have this war ended very soon. Mary promises to see to it if we pray the rosary. Everyone can do that, and everyone should. I don't want to preach, I just want to see an end to the bloodshed that has been shed, and will continue to be shed by our military as long as we have a war to fight. We can make the difference if we just pray. Try it, I guarantee that your prayers will not be unanswered. Maybe not in the time frame that you want like right now, but it will come, if we all band together to help our military. These brave men and women have given their lives so that we may be free, let us give up some time to say the rosary so that they can feel comfort that we care about them and our country. God bless.
