This is a great material from Argentina - Phosphosiderite. This is the first time I've been able to source this in the rough as it is quite rare. It's found in Argentina and is a hardness of 3.5-4 and polishes beautifully. It's chemical formula is FePO4·2H2O. It typically has some voids or matrix material running around in it that can easily be worked around. The lilac/lavender color IS SIMPLY STUNNING! It's like nothing I've ever seen before.
