This is a Senator Robert F. Kennedy 1968 memorial medal sculpted by Ralph J. Menconi, issued by Presidential Art Medals, Inc., and minted by the Medallic Art Company. This medal is struck in .999 silver, and it has a diameter of 38mm (1.5 inches). I don't have a coin scale, but t is close to an ounce of pure silver in this medal. The melt value of this medal is near $12. The condition of this medal is very choice matte uncirculated complete with it's original box, internal packing, and paperwork.
