This lot offers the funeral program from the day of Senator Kennedy's burial. It was found in a big box of personal items that were saved by Homer Mensch throughout his many years of musicianship (I have included a photo of this large box of memorabilia). Mr. Mensch was born in 1914 and died in December of 2005. He played bass with the New York Philharmonic for nearly 50 years. He was also well-known as a teacher and had many gifted students. T is much information about Mr. Mensch and his career on various internet sites including Wikipedia.I obtained a large box (about 18 lbs!) of personal items at a public auction and the entire collection (with a few exceptions) will be sold in a different lot. The program is 8 pages and includes the hymns and readings that were preformed at the mass on the day of burial for Senator Kennedy. This event took place at St Patrick's Cathedral in New York City. T is a 4 1/2 x 3 1/2 inch photo card included. The condition of both of these items is excellent. Winning bidder will add $2.00 for US or Canadian shipping and $4.00 for international shipping. Please remember to see my other auctions for other groups of items that are selling seperately. Thank you!
