Robert Held's Art Nouveau Perfume Bottle with Luster! Robert Held's Cranberry perfume with luster is absolutely stunning!! Beautiful translucent cranberry glass with luster that is accented with pulled feathers. I wish my camera could capture the pure essence of this piece, photos taken under a light tent. It stands 5 3/4" tall and is 4 1/2" wide. This bottle is new, first quality, signed R. Held Art Glass, and includes a small brochure. A truly wonderful addition to any art glass collection or the perfect gift! This piece began simply by gathering 2000 degree molten glass onto the end of a "blowpipe". Decoration with colored glass made using minerals such as copper, cobalt or gold were applied using techniques developed as long ago as 2000 B.C. Robert's unique designs are created with these colors as the glass is both mouth blown and hand formed into its final shape. After being gradually annealed, the glass is ground, polished and signed.
