ROCKDALE Union Stoneware Crock ( 1988 ) Excellent Condition In this listing Oldmarlees is featuring a ROCKDALE Union Stoneware 2 Quart Crock out of Cambridge, Wisconsin that measures 3 3/4" tall and is 9 1/4" in diameter. Other than a very small glaze nick, which actually adds to it's rustic quality, it has no chips, cracks or other damages to note. The makers mark, logo and date ( 1988 ) are found, engraved on the back outside area of the crock. A happy-go-lucky little pig is painted strolling across the front of this unique and spectacular crock. This stoneware gem is done in a light shade of speckled blue/green/tan on the outside and a darker, smoother shade of the same color blend on the inside area. ( see photo ) Both the hand painted pig and the splash design that is found around the logo are painted in a very dark blue color and are in MINT condition. Any crock collection will be incomplete without this fine specimen. Can't you just imagine this frolicking little pig adorning a shelf in your rustic decor setting?
