This auction for one authentic Skippy Sno-Plane 3 Runner Sled manufactured by The American National Compant of Toledo Ohio. Patented in 1934, this sled combines Art Deco and Modern Industrial design features which produce a sophisticated and powerful look! I like this sled because in a world of box shaped and generic looking sleds, this one stands out and looks rocket like. It also has original technology like the 3 Runner Blades (rather than 2), the center blade steering, and the chrome covered spring return steering mechanism. I have lived in Houston since 1986, and we have had no snow during that time that would allow the use of this Sno-Plane sled. This item is in very good vintage condition. Normal wear and tear associated with a used sled. Runners are straight, all wood is accounted for, and it is fully operational (just wax the runners and you are as stylish a sledder as will be seen this winter!) 20.00 Parcel Post Shipping if delivery speed is not important.
