's a great opportunity to own a uniform very similar to the one MADONNA , GEENA DAVIS and ROSIE O'DONNELL and other cast mates wore in the 1992 film "A LEAGUE OF THEIR OWN." The story is centered on the all-female baseball team THE ROCKFORD PEACHES , part of the All American Pro Girls League, which was created during World War II due to lack of male baseball players. I cannot say for sure if this is an authentic costume created for the film. The patch and buttons are incredibly similar to the costume cast member Tracy Reiner donated to a museum. However, it is missing the arm patch and number on the back that were seen in the film. It is marked size small and the workmanship is A+. If not used in the making of the film, it would still make a great display piece or Halloween costume. Payment must be made within 10 days. Shipping within the U.S. is $8.00.
