Description A GREAT LOT of items from Rocky Glen/Ghost Town in the Glen & Sans Souci Amusement Park and a few other local North East PA parks! You'll Get! - One OLD "ORIGINAL" ROCKY GLENN PARK COPPER ARCADE GAME TOKEN that reads "ROCKY GLEN PARK - GOOD FOR GIFTS,RIDES,GAMES & FOOD"(See Photo). - A HUGE lot of more than 70 photocopy pages (doublesided) of Park Postcards, Photos,Tickets, Brouchures, News Articles and other GREAT information on Rocky Glen, Sans Souci, Dorney, Angela & Hansons park with a auction brochure & catalog showing all the rides & items that was sold the last day Ghost Town Park was open! This 70 page lot is a collection that I've put together over the years! One - 1 Hour color D.V.D. movie of Rocky Glen & Sans Souci park with a few minutes of Dorney park also. The footage was taken in 1961,66,72,90 & 2004. This video shows clips of San Souci park in Hanover Twp., PA back in 1966 with some RARE color footage of the park when it was up & running! See some kiddie rides like the horse-n-buggy with the caterpillar in the background, kiddie boats, the whip and the great train ride. Next see some old footage clips of Dorney Park also in 1966 showing the CHICKEN RIDE/MERRY-GO-ROUND " CHANTICLEER " that was featured in the film " W ANGLES GO, TROUBLE FOLLOWS " with Rosalind Russell. Some of the rides are the whale boats & more. Next you'll see ROCKY GLEN PARK footage in 1961 of the " LONE RANGER " and his horse " SILVER " making a guest appearance at the park! See Clayton Moore doing gun tricks & making SILVER dance. You will also see RARE 1972 footage of a cowboy shootout and bank robbery at the old GHOST TOWN BANK showing people standing around watching the shootout and see some rides at the park when it was up and running! Next see the park in 1990 a few years after it closed showing some rides at Rocky Glen Park in Moosic, PA. You will also see a current (2004) & sad look of the park & lake as it looks today. See the fires and the over-kill demolition of the park t-after. Remember the 30+ rides like the "Jet Star/Comet/Mighty Lightnin" wooden roller coaster. The vintage 1903 merry-go-round, dodgems & other great rides! Can-Can dancing at the Red Barn Theatre with Hot bands, bavarian beer festivals at the western cowboy town with shootouts and a real jail by the lake near the ti/ted house, row boats, ferry rides and more!
