RAIL CARGO AUSTR1A This model is a DUMMY...no power...it is the same as Roco 43822 but without a motor. I displayed this model with a powered loco in tandum.Roco Catalogue #43822 is a HO gauge two DC two-rail model of a Austrian Federal Railways (OBB) Electric Locomotive Class 1014.011-9 This model is AS NEW. After the disappearance of the "Iron Curtain", traffic increases specially between Austria and Hungary. The OBB purchased 18 engines of the class 1044. They could run with the Austrian as well as the Hungarian power systems. They are still used in the Vienna ara, travel to Hungary and sometimes into the Czech Republic...hauling freight trains. This model was on display in a dust free Train-Safe Display Case in my office. After that, this model remained in its box until I took out to take the photograph I purchased this model from my favorite Train Shop in Innsbruck, Austria. I do not have a layout and this model comes to auction in its original Roco model box with paper and a details package.It would retail for over 100 Euros today.Buying and Selling on the Internet is still a hobby with me.
