Autographed soccer ball. Every piece of our rock memorablia collection has a great story to it! Before we met, my wife saw Rod perform and she hated it. When I suggested going to his London, Ontario performance she was hesitant but agreed. We had seats right next to the stage and when Rod started kicking soccer balls into the crowd, he tossed this one to my wife who was standing and screaming for it. After she caught it she motioned with a pen and Rod waved her over and signed the ball. We have kept the ball in a plastic case from that day until we photographed it for the auction. My wife and I, after nearly 40 years of traveling and collecting the rare and unusual are retiring. Many items from our personal collections are being offered so please have a look at our other listings. We have lived for many years in different places around the world and that has given us the opportunity to rummage through antique shops, markets and estates sales in many countries including England, Scotland, France, Spain, Italy, Australia and Morocco. We have at various times in our lives been travel writers and photographers, travel agents and even owned a couple of antique stores!
