1940s Rodney Kent "Silent Butler" Crumb Tray and Brush In ORIGINAL BOX with ORIGINAL TAGS This Rodney Kent set appears to have never been used. My understanding, though not confirmed, is that it was received as a wedding present in the late 40s or early 50s when hammered aluminum was at its height of popularity. I got it from the estate of the couple. It is still in its original box and still has the original tag on its string looped through the pattern on the tray. The tray is about 7 x 5. with a flower pattern. Matching pattern is on brush. Again, this is just like brand new. You will NEVER find a nicer Rodney Kent. Rodney Kent was never an actual person, but a combination of street names where the manufacturer was originally located - Rodney & Kent Streets in Brooklyn, NY.
