GALLIA 24% FULL LEAD CRYSTAL EXQUISITE LARGE CENTERPIECE !!! RETIRED IN 1997 ~ NEW ~ NEVER USED ~ MINT !!! !!! NO RESERVE !!! Offered is an absolutely exquisite Gallia LARGE CENTERPIECE. It is NEW, NEVER USED, and in MINT condition, with no chips, cracks, or damage of any kind, with the original sticker still attached. All of my Gallia Crystal have either been packed away, or displayed in glass curio cabinets in my smoke free home. Retired in 1997, the GALLIA pattern is quickly becoming increasingly RARE and hard to find. This magnificent Large Centerpeice is hand blown, superbly cut, and sparkles brilliantly with exceptional quality that you can only obtain with the very best handmade craftsmanship!!! It measures nearly 9âe High, 10âe Wide across the top, and 5-5/8âe Wide across the base. Unlike the much more common Gallia stems, this is a superior high end piece that is very heavy, weighing in at about 13 pound with all that beautiful crystal. I understand a master designer left Waterford Crystal in Ireland, to join ROGASKA Crystal in what was then known as Yugoslavia to begin the GALLIA Pattern in 1982. This helps to explain the outstanding quality of this crystal pattern, which many people feel rivals Waterford, Baccarat, and the other greats in the world today which often cost much more. The GALLIA pattern was then produced from 1982 until it was retired in 1997. This very much sought after GALLIA pattern consists of exquisite diamond cut cross hatch with etched flowers and leaves, adding the perfect touch for your most romantic candlelight dining. My wife and I have recently retired and are in the process of downsizing.
