ROGERS BROS. 1847 DAFFODIL SILVERPLATE FLATWARE WITH ORIGINAL WALNUT CASE62 PIECES - INCLUDES SERVING PIECES Just in time for Christmas is this offering for a beautiful and complete set of Rogers Bros. silverplate in the ever popular and "highly" collectable Daffodil pattern. T is a total of 62 pieces that are in very nice condition and show minimal use. In fact some appear not to have been used at all - this set was brought to the table on special occasions and has been stored for many years. I am selling this wonderful set for a relative who is leaving her home to move into senior housing. The set was a gift when she and her husband married in 1951. She added additional dinner forks and the tomato server shortly after. The set has been polished and will be ready for your dinner table on Christmas Eve. It truly is a lovely pattern and easy to see why it has maintained it's popularity over the years. The only flaw I have seen among the pieces is one of the serving spoons has a couple of light pit marks on the back, but nothing significant. The box is made of beautiful walnut and is in excellent condition. The inside is a very pretty raspberry velveteen with white satin. The case is tarnish proof and is in overall beautiful condition but it does show some staining on the right side, bottom section. It looks like a light tea stain read more
