It was a sad day when Will Rogers and Wiley Post crashed their plane near Point Barrow, Alaska in August 1935. Will Rogers the humorist during the Great Depression and Wiley Post the first man who flew around the world were attempting another record flight. Their images are raised above the globe with raised relief. Their aircraft with wing markings of W.P. X-120 is descending toward the earth. I am sure it has been painted in an appropriate/original color (matches the original one I have from my childhood), has been rewired and comes with the white globe as my original has. Very good condition, works good, one screw for holding globe is different than the other. Seventeen inches tall, width 5 3/4". Bulb not included. Notice: As a bonus you will receive a hardcover book "Will Rogers, Ambassador of Good Will, Prince of Wit and Wisdom" by P.J. O'Brien, c1935. Bid now at this bargain price for such an awesome commemorative collectible. Reasonable reserve. I don't need 2 of them! From a smoke free, pet free home. Feel free to ask questions. U.S. shipping & handling $14.95; other shipping calculated when address received. We honor combined shippng. We prefer PayPal, however other methods may be available at request of the buyer.
