I’m selling my MC-202 due to both moving house and the factthat I have only used it a handful of times in the 8 years I have owned it. Whats it do? Similar, but certainly not the same as the SH-101. It has a similar synth section, but with a built in sequences like the TB-303. You can also control the synth via CV and Gate. Please have a look at the many You Tube clips of this synth in action to get a flavour of its capabilities. For some more detailled info, these guys say it better /roland/mc202.php History I purchased the unit in 2004 from a fried. He was given the unit in around 1995 by another friend. Due to having no manual or Midi to CV converter he was not able to make use of the unit and it was stored away. I have subsequently had the unit stored for many years with light usage, mainly through the CV and Gate inputs as it’s a pain to program. At some point in its life the unit has been dropped, causing the case by the battery compartment to crack, also breaking off part of the internal battery contact mounting and losing the battery compartment lid. I have sourced new battery contacts and repaired the internal compartment and battery contact mounting, as well as replacing the battery compartment cover. See photos.
