Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust stainless steel watch - Model Number 16030 Originally purchased from Ernest Jones in 1990 (as per the original Rolex Guarantee). This watch comes complete with all the original paperwork, box, display packaging, guarantee and evidence of servicing. It is 100% genuine. The servicing has been carried out recently via Mappin & Webb, the last one being in April 2008 when a complete overhaul and service was carried out by Rolex UK. It has always been extremely well looked after since being given to me as a gift. As you can imagine with a watch of this quality it has only had limited use as I wear other watches for general use although I must point out that a minor scratch to the glass which is hardly visible does exist around the 8 o’clock digit (see photo 11, you may just see it). This was caused by my wife’s diamond ring catching it when we were holding hands (yes really), as most will know the glass could only be scratched by a diamond if it’s a genuine Rolex. The watch has the 555 bracelet with the numbers appearing on both ends where the bracelet joins the watch. It also has the Rolex inscriptions etc. in the clasp area.
