Rollei Tele Rolleiflex Carl Zeiss Sonnar 135mm f/4 TLR 135/4 This camera is used, It comes from my friend's Estate. He was a great photographer, and took great care of his equipment. This camera is being sold As Is.... The bottom lenses has de-cemented around the edges, this is repairable, see info below. This camera used a 135 mm/f4.0 Carl Zeiss Sonnar taking lens. Camera comes complete with lens cap, leather case, and original box. Here is some info on the decementation of the taking lens: Separation in Rolleiflex TLR Lens ... any experiences? Raid W. Amin , Jul 19, 2003; 11:18 a.m.I use a Rolleiflex TLR which has a "rainbow colored" circle around the edge of the taking lens (Zeiss Planar 2.8). I have read about possible recementing of lens elements , but I am interested in reading comments from users of cameras with such a problem. How many more years can I expect usefulness from the camera and when would a repair be a mandatory? I love my Rollei, and I want to keep it for use and collecting. Repair seems to cost about $300-$400 if done really well. Responses Patric Dahlén , Jul 19, 2003; 11:51 a.m.Have you used the camera and looked at the results ? If the separation is just at the extreme edge, I don't think it would cause any problems if you stop down to f:4 or more. Raid W. Amin , Jul 19, 2003; 12:15 p.m.Hello Patric, read more
