An elderly fellow photographer has gotten too old to shoot anymore and has just had to move to a retirement home. This Rolleicord IV, unfortunately, could not go with him. It is a one owner camera. Not sure when he bought it but one of the books with the camera is dated 1945. This Rolleicord IV twin lens reflex camera has the Schnieder-Kreuznach Xenar f3.5 75mm lens with fully synchronized Synchro-Compur MXV shutter. The shutter has speeds to 1/500 and appears to function properly at all speeds, including full second. The lens looks extremely nice as well, with no haze and fungus. Paint is excellent with only a few very small chips on back corners, hardly noticeable. Some sign of wear on the tripod mounting ring but it is hardly "heavy" or even "moderate". See closeup photos which show this Rollei is in very nice, damage free condition. The leather case is in very good condition, too. Included with the camera and case are 4 pieces of original Rolleicord literature: * the Rolleicord/Rolleiflex Practical Accessories booklet (very good condition) * Rolleicord "Owners Manual" titled "In Practical Use" (average condition with wear but intact) * a Rolleicord IV pamphlet which seems to capture its key features, probably a brochure (well worn, shabby & wrinkled) * the "Rolleiflex Guide, 112 page 1945 paperback (cover tattered and coming read more
