Up for auction is a Rolleiflex 3.5F with Planar 75/3.5 lens. It has a b right screen with grid and split image. The brand of the screen is to me. The camera is in full working condition including the light meter. The following are detailed descriptions:- VG to EX- cosmetic condition. No dents or dings. Just normal use wear and marks.- Both taking lens and viewing lens are clear and clean. No fungus, no separations, no scratches, no clearing marks, no haze. Lens labeled "Carl Zeiss" of that era is prone ot seperation. About 50% of the these lenses are separated more or less. This is due to the cement that Carl Zeiss used to cement the glass elements together. This is true for Contax RF, Contarex, Super Ikonta lenses. I have onbserve this over the years and 50% is my own estimate. Some sy more than that. Some seperations are subtle and hard to detect. Many ebay seller don't even aware of this. This perticular Planar servived all this. It does not have even the sligtest trace of seperation. A superb find. - Aperture and shutter blades are clean, no bend-up or rush. - Film advance and shutter cocking works smoothly.- Shutter workson all speeds crispy and reliablly. All speeds are acurate to the ear. Selftimer works nciely.- Focus is very smooth. - Light meter works. Reading is identical to my handheld meter. No cracks on meter cover. read more
